Hi Tim, Those Tamiya car kits are just the best, I had the Morris Mini, I was trying to turn it into a slot car. I never did get it finished! I used to watch the Fiat 500's racing in the UK in the '60's with large tuned carburetor stacks fitted and the engine cover propped up on stays. Some fast racing was always the order of the day.

Well, the Eldar Wave Serpent is as good as finished,
and a AMT/Matchbox White Freightliner COE is next on the agenda.
But I do not yet have enough information on the brake lines,
so if this kit happens to be in the modelling shop, I might well be my next one 😉

I can see it with a blower sticking out of the hood, tubbed-out rear end with some massive drag slicks, and wheelie bars! 🙂 Okay, that might be a bit of stretch. 🙂
