Does anybody know what this resin part will improve? What was inaccurate with the nose included with the 1:48 scale Flanker from Academy?

Hi Treehugger,

The kit included nose, is a little fat in profile and does not taper off as it should.
this corrects that.

Oh, wow. That looks terrible. Looking now at somebodys photo showing the kit nose compared to something that looks more like the real thing. Apparently something seen from top view, and maybe side view isn't looking good either (haven't checked).

Btw, I found a nice side view of a real Flanker jet, and I think I see a symmetry between the hump back arc and the forward part of the nose, and then, the canopy and rear part of those are lowered: [img1]
 


I drew on a shape with just three points, seems to me that the arc continues onto the forward part of the nose and down to the tip.
